With rapid development of network technology, Internet emerges in a large number of reusable services. How to use these heterogeneous services to build applications, has become an emergency problem in software engineering. For this purpose, our university designed HSCP (Heterogeneous Services Composition Platform), which based on network and oriented users' application demands. As an important component of the platform, the services composition's monitoring and controlling module ensures system's reliability and stability.Firstly, in this thesis, the existing services composition technologies are analyzed and structure of the HSCP is proposed. As the platform lack of dynamic services monitoring and controlling method, the services composition monitoring and controlling objectives, structure and key issues to be resolved are presented.Secondly, monitored objects and events are indicated according to the platform's characteristics. Using agent technology, services' state data are gathered dynamically. Through defining workflow's state deduce rules and converse rules, we can judge the services composition flow's state quickly. In this process, the correctness of control flow and data flow are validated.Finally, exceptions which may be happen when the application begin to run are analyzed. Services controlling rules are defined by the types of these exceptions. In the rules, the services matching method are mainly discussed. Simulate functions are proposed to compute the services function and un-function similarity. Experimental results demonstrate that the algorithms can balance the rate of the recall and precision when search services.An approach for dynamic monitoring and controlling services composition flow is implemented in this work. It provides foundation for oriented user's application demands analysis, process definitions, and execution in heterogeneous services composition platform. It has progressive significance in application and theory.
