| This dissertation presents the method of the design and realization of the system on "Fuzzy Oral Carcinoma Diagnosis and Treatment Expert System". Fuzzy technology is used in the design and development of the Expert System, which is designed to act as an intelligent assistant to a doctor in making decision and instruction in a whole process of diagnosis and treatment. Knowledge base has been built in the system to conserve and generalize the knowledge of diagnosis and treatment, the new technology, the new means and valuable experience of medical experts. This expert system brings forth the analysis process of diagnosis, provides the all-around project of diagnosis and nurse, broadens the view of medicine personnel, aids doctors to draw a conclusion of project of diagnosis and nurse, conquers the problem in short of supply of human medicine experts in oral carcinoma diagnosis and treatment. The expert system enhances the quality of medical treatment service and provides better quality, more prompt, cheaper and more convenient medical treatment service by approaches of simple and convenient operation, aborative analysis, all-around instruction and prompt diagnoses.Simultaneously, this expert system can also act as an Intelligent Instruction Platform in hospitals and medicine institutes. The students initiatively derive knowledge from the expert system by entering the sign designed and the information examined to bring the students' initiative for study.This scientific research project was established as the key scientific research project (project number: 2002A06004) by Ministry of Education of Hubei province in the research and development.This dissertation analyses existing situation and problems of traditional medicinal clinic diagnosis and treatment. The states of the application and the development of the Computer Aided Diagnosis and Treatment are summarized in this dissertation. This dissertation presents the fundamental principle and basic methods. The methods to design the fuzzy knowledge base, the fuzzy global database and the fuzzy production rule are discussed. The reasoning machine modal and the method of realization, organizing the fuzzy knowledge base inexternal files and internal memory, organizing the fuzzy global database in external files and internal memory, realizing the fuzzy explanation facility are created.Based on the system designing, this dissertation discusses how to use object-oriented method to analyze and design the fuzzy reasoning machine, the fuzzy global database, the fuzzy knowledge base, the human-computer interface and control center, and creates their class models.The expert system is established on the operation system platform of MS Windows. This system adopts Microsoft Visual C-H-6.0 of object-oriented programming platform, the ACCESS database system platform and the ODBC database programming method.There are ten chapters in this dissertation.Chapter 1: This chapter describes the process and existent problem of traditional medicinal clinic diagnosis. The states of development and peculiarity of the Computer Aided Diagnosis and Treatment are summarized in this chapter. This chapter introduces the application and the classification in the Expert System in medicinal diagnosis and treatment. In the end, the purpose, the significance and the main research content of this dissertation are introduced.!Chapter 2: This chapter introduces the modal of the fuzzy oral carcinoma diagnosis and treatment expert system, the mechanism of the system based on message driving, the representation of knowledge, the method of reasoning under uncertainty, the control strategy, the mechanism of knowledge acquisition and the explanation mechanism summarily.Chapter 3: This chapter presents conception, task and method of knowledge acquisition.
