At present, more and more attention are paid from society to the disease of visual function. But in many areas, ophthalmologists aren’t fully understanding of the disease of visual function, which makes the problem of how to support these ophthalmologists to diagnose visual function disease becoming significant. Therefore, it is needed to research on the intelligent diagnosis assistant system for disease of visual function.This dissertation regards assisting the auxiliary role of visual function’s diseases as the research object. According to the research results of artificial intelligence, fuzzy math, knowledge engineering, computer technology, network technology and database technology et al and medicine of visual function, we research and design the diagnosis and treatment assistant system of visual function based on expert knowledge. The system can analyze both common and complex types of disease according to the chief symptoms, personal medical history, lifestyle, age and genetic factors et al. The conclusion and relevant information can help doctors to diagnose and treat the visual function disease.During the whole research process, I focus my job on:First, according to the characteristic of visual function’s knowledge, we express the knowledge by the method of six numbers hierarchical classification code, and design method of Web-based knowledge acquisition.Secondly, after researching on the course of doctors’ diagnosis, and with fuzzy math theory, we propose mechanisms of hierarchical fuzzy reasoning, and realize reasoning method of calculating matching result of disease and symptoms. Meanwhile, we also propose and realize an effective reasoning strategy according to the analysis of complex disease.At last, we take the practicability and convenience into account adequately. We provide a visualization of the operating environment and management of patients’ medical records, and realize the function of intelligent control and data acquisition to the system of visual function check.The contribution of the system is raising the quality and efficiency of diagnosis and treatment by supporting doctors to diagnose and treat the disease of visual function.
