With the rapid development of television, the traditional and general ways in the arrangement of TV channel programs are facing new challenges: the TV market is changing from a monopolitic, enclosed state to a multi-channel competitive one; the viewrs are further subdivided, the demands show variety and complexity.The old condition of videocasting in China has been broken. The traditional ways in the arrangement of programs without their own features, scientific& advanced concepts and the operational menchnism of market, cann't meet the needs of the times and society any longer.The unprecedented crisis of existence and fierce competition confronted by China's television make the teletricians come to realize that the study on the arrangement of TV channel programs has developed into an cruicial method in internal mangement and competition among various channels.The thesis, with the arrangement of the TV channel programs as its core, based on investigation and concrete examples, makes an in-depth study on problems relating with the importance and urgency, the scientific basis applied, the major elements, the strategies, the sense of innovation in the arrangement of TV channel programs. In content, starting with the new challenges in the arrangement of programs faced by TV channels resulted from the roaring growth of television in China, the paper makes the readers sense the importance and urgency of the study on the make-up of TV channel programs. In Chapter "The scientific basis applied in the study on the arrangement of TV channel programs"the author breaks the old evidence getting from the single viewer's rate survey, puts forward the comprehensively scientific bases applied in arranging programs from the viewer's rate, the viewer's satisfaction and the put-in of advertisement. In Chapter "The major elements in thearrangement of TV programs", the author analyses the main components in making up TV programs from the aspects of the viewing period, the viewer and the TV programs. The author, using a large number of investigation data and examples, different from the traditional means, thinking from new angles, analyses the components in details and raises concrete countermeasures which are instructive and can be used for reference in arranging programs in new period. In Chapter" The strategy in making up TV channel programs", the author, combining with her experience in arrangement, points out that one should be particular about the scientificalness, rationality and artistry but also apply various skills flexibly in order to optimize the result. In the last chapter "The sense of innovation in the current arrangement of TV programs", the author points out that the innovation in arrangement should be instructed by scientific and advanced marketing concepts and analyses it from the marketing view. Meanwhile, the author suggests that the arrangement of TV programs should follow the laws, seek for the supporting reforms and mechinism innovation.
