The Design And Implementation Of Picture Viewer Based On Digital Photo Frame

Nowadays, with the mass popularity of digital cameras and high-pixel camera phones, one kind of digital photo frame came into being, whose core function is preservation, playback and browsing of digital pictures. Picture viewer of digital photo frame can browse pictures in memory card directly and play slides with the chosen pictures. This product solve defects which digital photos need to be viewed by computersThe issue stems from one R&D project of digital photo frame in Hi-Tech consumer chip solution INC., Shenzhen. The software structure of this picture viewer consists of two modules, which are picture preview's module and slide browser's module. picture preview's module implement to show thumbnails of different picture files in one screen;slide browser's module is made of effects display during playing picture automatically, and image transform processing during playing picture manually which includes image revolving, image magnifying, image shifting. Dynamic loading mechanism is adopted to achieve switch from picture preview's module to slide browser's module. Principle is as follows: when the program runs, certain parts of the functional code need to be implemented to load into corresponding location from external RAM to program space through dynamic loader. This mechanism can save the system Internal RAM resources effectively.In this thesis, the project backgrounds and developments of this design are introduced. Secondly, the project hardware and software architecture are analyzed and design specifications of picture viewer is proposed. Thirdly, the structure of picture viewer is established, and the process of software structure is designed detailedly. Then, theoretical foundations of the image processing are analyzed, realization method of image effects show and image transition is researched in this picture viewer. Lastly, the shortage of this picture viewer is pointed out, and the direction of improving.
