The assessment to image quality mainly depends on subjective assessment. There are few value objective assessment today. This thesis first introduces five widely-used restoration methods of motion-blurred images, especially the restoration method based on traveling wave equation. It also analyzes status of image quality assessment and introduces an image quality objective assessment rule based on traveling wave equation. Then this thesis makes use of this rule to compare the image restoration quality of each method adopted different parameters, and to compare the best image restoration quality of different methods. This test indicates that results of subjective assessment and objective assessment, are consistent.
