The image blur caused by motion is a common problem in the generation and processingof images. In study of motion-blurred image restoration, the computer simulatedmotion-blurred image is of many advantages, such as separable degradation source andeasy-to-set motion parameters, etc. So it is indispensable to use a simulatedmotion-blurred image as the input image in development and evaluation of differentalgorithms.Traveling wave equation can be used to describe the process of image blur caused bythe uniform linear motion. Through the study of processes of image exposure, imageformation, and traveling wave equation, a mathematical model is established, and ansimulation algorithm is given based on the traveling ware equation. The differencescheme of this algorithm can be used to programming and generation the motion-blurredimage on the computer.In the difference scheme of this algorithm, the change of motion parameters such asdirection of movement and time step will cause the difference scheme change,throughthe study of this motion parameters, an algorithm is first given for develop the computersimulated motion-blurred image caused by the uniform linear motion, and the motionparameters is easy-to-set in this algorithm. |
