The Design And Implementation Of SOHU Home Gateway Based On Embedded Linux System

With the development in high speed of embedded technology ,all kinds of embeddedproduction are related with our life more and more intimately .But now the overseas-embeddedproduction have a high price, moreover domestic production have always used embedded systembased on foreign technology and are mostly enslaved to others. These productions occur seriousincompleteness's then the research of embedded production based on self-determination systemkernel is especially considerable. With developing of digital network in several years, thenucleus unit of gateway is in process of gradually enlargement. All of these require our taskgroup to exploit SOHU home gateway based embedded Linux system.The paper made thoroughly researches on the development process about soft hardware inembedded system, make a few relevant improvement in the composition and model of hardwareand hierarchical structure and protocol stack of software, customized the kernel of embeddedLinux system by user requirement, make up a specifically system and exploder applicationsoftware on the specifically system platform, modified systematic boot project and save of thestorage space. To enhance the safety of SOHU home gateway, we carry out VPN gatewayfunction by use of burgeoning IPSec technology. Moreover, we put forward new IP+IPSecproject, solve the actual existence of contact bottleneck in the present project and upgradedisposal efficiency. This system can be used in such platforms as Windows, Linux e.g., andsatisfy compatibility. In addition the paper analyze and improve upon key technique used inimplementation procedure and also develop some testing examples to verify the functions ofSOHU gateway. All these make the gateway to be secure and reliable.
