Research On The Optical System Of Avionic HMS/HMD

The research of avionic HMS/HMD visor' s optical system is a topic in "the Tenth Five-year-plan" and at presents only a few countries do this work .The optical structure and design demands relate to the optical system of avionic HMS/HMD are described in detail in this paper. A parabolic visor projectile display is selected as a final scheme. Then a mathematical model of aspheric visor is made on the basis of the aspheric optical theory .And according to this model, an off-axis aspheric optical system of visor projectile HMS is designed and optimized by using CODE-V (9. 0) software. The result is very good and this optical system makes HMS/HMD' s structure more reasonable and practical.
