Integration Between Web System And Desktop Systems

In the long way of our enterprise's development.because of the limitation of computer technology and other external condition.the process of building information network has been postponed.So,integrating the information of other systems together with the current web system has become the exigent task of our enterprise.This thesis is based on the project "Office Automation System" of HuBei Water Resources Research Institute.The purpose of this project is to build the Office Automation and Information Management System.First,this project realizes the Office Automation,such as personal business,administration management,project management and public information management.Second.there are many desktop systems in our enterprise,such as book management.fee management of using water and power,fee management of printing,personnel management and finance management.On integrating the information of all these parts,we can read and search data from such desktop systems through one web system now.Microsoft. NET built on XML and internet is an advanced platform for making new programme .Before the appearance of Microsoft.NET,each system was isolated,they did not communicate with each other. We can use Microsoft.NET to integrate all information of internet into one solution.In our integration.many other advanced techniques have been used such as ASP.NET.Web Service, XML and C sharp.
