This paper introduces in detail real time firearm monitoring & managing system based on intelligent button, which is the first attempt around China and has nothing to use for reference. This system takes the firearm storage installation for example and discussed a feasible implementation of security ojanagement and automatic alarm. The implementation transports the data collected by hypogenous devices through RS232 Serial Ports to database in epigenous server, which can be accessed through Military Net of 310, a proprietary military commanding network and realizes effective firearm monitoring and management. The system features and techniques are listed below:1. Hypogenous device is implemented with micro-controller that assures the timeliness.2. SQL server is adopted to meet the requirements of system upgrade and security.3. Epigenous server is implemented with C/S structure and programmed with VB to improve the timeliness.4. Data accuracy of the whole system is predominated by the accuracy in the hypogenous device. Information button is adopted with one identification ID to identify the firearm.5. Hypogenous devices can be used independent of epigenous server, which does great benefits to cross-country campaign training, and the data can be stored for 7 days at most.6. Secure access to database is implemented with secure login pattern to assure the security in epigenous server.7. Management instructions can be sent from epigenous server down to hypogenous devices.8. The program in epigenous server can maintain the database, and integrality is assured finally. As a result, this system meets the special security requirements of militarywell, reduces the time and energy of firearm management greatly, makes updefects of the management comprehensively.
