Computer Aided Process Planning On Front Shaft Of Automobile

Computer Aided Process Planning System on Front-Shaft of Automobile was developed with the structure of Hybrid CAPP, which has the features of Variant CAPP and Generative CAPP, according to the conditions of factory and the characteristics of process. In this paper, the principle and implement of system were expatiated, including the following modules: system scheme, Roll Forging process, process modeling, process database, process drawing, print and output of process file, process management and so on. ActiveX Automation, feature-based modeling, Object-Oriented, database, Data Structure, OLE and template technologies were adopted in this system, and the software was programmed with Delphi6 .0 and AutoCAD2000 on the platform Windows2000.The application of the software, the efficiency and quality of work were improved rapidly and the information of CAPP can be shared more expediently with other data systems.
