Forging Type Capp System Research And Development

In the dissertation, we introduced the research and development of an intellective free forging CAPP. It is a multi-mode applicable system, which are based on database technology. The main function of this system includes forging expert system, process information management and process card collection. Now this CAPP are used in WuXi Machine Tools Company for test, all the information feedback from such companies is pretty good. Every year the using of the system may save the company for about 100,000 yuan.In this dissertation, we analyzed the key technology of CAPP system. And introduced the way we developed this system from the software engineering. In order to set up an intelligent CAPP system, which can be operated by non-forging major person, we try to build a consummate expert system, which may largely reduce the experience of operator.
