On The News Entertainment Of China's Present Massive Media

In the 1990s, news entertainment is a global trend, which inevitably influenced China's media in the course of shift to the so-called socialism market economy.To put it briefly, news entertainment refers to those streams and phenomena which merges news and entertainment along with the development of market economy. This paper differentiates it from news exoteric and news plebeian by giving it a accurate definition. We get the conclusion that it can not be affirmed or negated simply and economic benefit is the prime mover of it through the analysis of its representation and rootstock in China's media. On the basis of a comprehensive analysis, this paper put forward three suggestions: employees in the media industry should differentiate news entertainment from news exoteric and have a clear understanding of news value; the idea of so-called news specialism should be strengthened; the media should have a diverse development.
