It mainly studies the research and development of OA system and pivotal technology.The paper firstly introduces the definition of OA, it' s development actuality and international trend. Through analyzing the function demand of OA, and comparing kinds of existing OA development platform, it brings forward that Lotus Domino/Notes is the best developing platform in this system. Following it, Domino/Notes is simply presented.Consequently, safe strategy in OA System is laid stress on, then it discusses the system security design which follows five principles of setting safe strategy via the analysis of Notes safe mechanism and Internet security.Moreover, as the problem of how to connect other application system, it discusses the integration problem of Domino and RDBMS, realizes visiting external RDBMS in Domino via Open Database Connection interface. What' s more.it Describes technology of Object Linking and Embedding, studies the non-seam connection technology with Domino and external application. Finally, we emphasize particularly on the solution about several correlative technical difficulty in this system.
