This text takes project of the Dalian certain graduate school as the background. Based on the dimmer at the current airport, a kind of new-type airfield light dimmer control system is presented. System takes Intel 16 micro-controller as the core controller and adopts advanced IPM module that replaces the silicon as inverter so that the output waveforms have been heavily improved, which compare with the waveforms after chopping of silicon, which not only reduces the loss of the transformer, but also lengthens the light life-span. The application of CAN Bus makes the system supervised and managed easily. Because the airfield light dimmer control system has operating fast, reliable characteristics during switching over the light grade, the designs of systematic software and hardware are all around these characteristics. The test has been achieved successfully. This thesis will give out the corresponding experimental result.The first part of the thesis describes the design and realized scheme of the systematic hardware. It is divided into the designs of control loop and main loop. Controlling portion that taking Intel 16 one-chip computer as the core will be introduced in detail. It will give the designs of data gather module, man-machine interface module, driver module. The realization of major loop will be given after IPM module is introduced. The absorption circuit of the module is selected according to the actual conditions.Second part introduces systematic software design in detail. Firstly, the principle of waveform generator in 80196mc is introduced. The method of realizing SPWM signal with software is given. Secondly. Many soft filtering methods are recommended and the corresponding soft filtering methods are selected according to actual conditions. Finally the realization of control algorithm is given.The third part the design of systematic function enhancement is introduced. It is mainly for the communication to the location machine in order to supervising and management. Data can be transmitted on the spot by CAN bus. A kind of new-type pair of redundant CAN system is given.The last part of the thesis summarizes the design plan of this system. comparing with the current airfield light dimmer control system, the application prospect of this system is pointed out.
