In recent years, the rapid development of the touch technology, and this technology was infiltrated to different market as soon as quickly. Here we can see, capacity touch key-press panel is used in high production as high distinct TV, computer display and culinary electric appliance, at present a lot of companies are very throw themselves into make the touch technology together with there whole production in the series. This article make the touch technology will be integrated into lighting control, not only control the ON-OFF but also adjustment the light levels.At the first, according to market demand to determine the main function of the touch dimmer chip. This chip not only has the on-off function, but also has the control brightness function, the brightnesss include three breeds:25%,50%and100%, in turn adjust according to touch the number of light levels. Second, determine the dimming of the methods and principles. The important point is who can control the brightness by circuit. The design of the chip through the control chip external triac dimming, its principle is to change the output voltage of the dimmer output signal through the chip to change the size of the thyristor conduction angle in order to achieve dimming. Finally, the circuit is designed in accordance with the analog and digital two parts. Simulate some of the major functional modules:clock circuit, square-wave control circuit, touch the circuit and power-on reset circuit; the digital part of the main functional requirements:frequency circuit, detect the touch circuit and lighting control circuit.This article is in cadence environment using the SMIC0.5μm CMOS process model design, simulation and circuit design. The simulation shows that the various modules and circuits to complete the functional requirements, the performance indicators qualified.The results show that the design of the touch control dimmer chip applies to all switches on the lights and brightness adjustment control.
