Waveform Synthesis Technology

Aim at the development of the software radio in generalization, standardization and modularization, a waveform synthesis solution based on direct digital frequency synthesis is developed.The digital upward frequency conversion is the key element of the waveform synthesis. At the same time, basic theoretical analysis and optimum design are done for PCI Bus Slave interface, FIFO, Transmit Signal Processor, Digital-to-Analog Converter and logic control. As a result, the optimum system design is then presented.The merit that the waveform synthesis module attained are : the frequency of output IF:21.4MHz , its harmonic wave restriction is: second order 40dBc,third order -50dBc , its spurious restriction is: at + 10KHz -80dB/Hz, at+100KHz -90dB/Hz.
