Due to its prominent interactive Machine-User interface and marvelous immersing feelings, Virtual Reality (VR) emerged from 90s' pound at the way of orthodox thinking, at the same time the development of network again make it had the infinite on the space to postpone the exhibition,Virtual Reality Modeling Language integrating Virtual Reality technique with network emerge with the tide of the times, then Remote Server based above technique has been being a hot field.3D spaces according to time that the VRML document describes call virtual state, named state briefly, sketch object and hearing object including in the state can change by various mechanisms. Object in the state and its attribute are described with node, and the node according to the certain rule constitute Scene Graph (SG). The first kind of nodes in the SG describes object by the sense of vision and hearing, they organizing according to level of structure system reflect structure of the state. Another nodes participating in the mechanism of Event and Route form Route Graph (RG), make sure the dynamic state of SG with time. That make use of the computer and its equipments, VRML and related software to simulate the fault of equipments, create dimensions sketch world reflecting change and interactive action of fault equipments for customer, and can participate in investigating action and change of fault equipments in the environment directly, then provide a valid way for remote diagnostics and tutorial in network environment is core thought of remote diagnostics and tutorial based virtual reality and network.This thesis bases on modeling in VR, built a platform used for remote diagnostics and tutorial service based network with VRML which as modeling language and Java which as development tool and simulate the fault state of equipments to realize remote diagnostics andtutorial by network. After finishing interactive operation between user and model in network environment, the system can input and output VRML information of fault at real time, and make good try to construct fault character interactively. At the same time, that put three dimensions virtual scene into remote tutorial and make sure that the system has the function of interactive operation between user and computer show infinite development of remote tutorial. Development of the system presents a visual auxiliary platform for remote diagnostics and tutorial, laying a solid foundation for virtual remote service, making a good try for new way of remote service.
