With the development of society, Optical communication is a novel technology following the demand of our information society with its characters, such as the high transmission code, the low power consumption and the strong ability of resist interference. The Auto-Acquisition , Pointing and Tracking of the beam is a key technology of optical communications. In this paper , our main work is to comparing some photoelectric detectors in APT subsystem and determine to using CCD as the detector in our system. The spatial resolution of detector is an important parameter in the system of Auto-Acquisition , Pointing and Tracking for the beam. It can affect the tracking precision of whole system. In this paper, we use the oversampling of CCD to improve the position resolution of CCD, we can use this theory to improve the position resolution to sub-image element level, such as 1/2 image element , 1/4 image element. It is to say that when the beam on the CCD move sub-image element distance, the system can distinguish it. There are two main works in this paper:1. Analyse the oversampling theory of CCD and emulate the oversampling with computer. 2. Design the drive circuit of CCD.
