At present, people are increasingly applying GPS to mapping, navigation, communications and many other fields. In the earth displacement respect of Real-time supervisory control, the control system of GPS Multi-antennae will change the traditional method of a GPS Receiver connecting to a GPS antenna, and implement data collection by the method of a GPS Receiver and Multi-antennae.To improve orientation precision and to be convenient to manage, GPS data need be transferred to control center by communications software. On the background of this trend, how to implement data traffic of CMS by programming is researched in this paper. Two methods are proposed, which are line and network.In the respect of Modem communications programming, according to different run environment, controlling Modem by software and implementing serial I/O by interrupt in MS-DOS, controlling Modem by Microsoft s TAPI and implementing serial I/O by overlapped I/O in Windows98 are proposed. For the sake of accuracy, three files transfer protocol are proposed and implemented.In the respect of network communications programming, TCP/IP network protocol is discussed. In Windows98, we implement network communications programming through Microsoft s Winsock API and MFC Winsock class.The test results show that the methods of self-programming are effective, convenient to expand the functions of system and increase the extra value of CMS system.
