With the further development of network communication technology and computer technology,Instant Messaging has been a requirement of on-line activities. This instant messaging system is highlighted in the field of Internet application research,especially the instant messaging system of enterprise customer. The development of the instant messaging software of the enterprise version has brought the new thoughts and means to management of enterprises. For it have been improving the enterprise's working efficiency, and reducing the official bossiness cost,that has caused the research upsurge of the project application.This project design and implementation the new enterprise instant messaging based on the topic of the existing network communication technology, database technology and information security technology. This system has offered an instant messaging platform incorporating characters communication, online information, file transfer, have met enterprise users'request basically.Firstly,I studied various kinds of popular instant messaging soft wares,analyzed them,and then confirmed that the function of EIM system,and put forward the framework of the system different from the common instant messaging system. Then I improve some key technology in communication system and design a new EIM system which integrates P2P model and C/S model. It is a compatible mulprotocol and real-name instant system. For improving security of the transport, An algorithm that combines symmetric encryption with dissymmetric encryption is designed to resolve the problem. We encrypt the key of DES algorithm with the RSA algorithm and the general information with the DES algorithm.Secondly, the important modules of client and server of instant messaging system is presented in detail, such as the design, implementation and function of each module, and flow chart of each module is showed. Finally, the test results and analysis reports for this instant messaging system is put forward. A large amount of experimental data shows that this system can be expanded and implemented easily. It is high reliable and efficiency aware.
