This dissertation reviews the contents of basic operations, operational properties, canonical forms, mmunization fonns of fuzzy logic(FL) and multi-valued logic(MVL), the similarities between them is pointed out and the probability of using the methods of MVL to analyze and solve the problems of FL is proposed. The relationship between the literals of FL function and the literals of MVL function, the threshold operations of MVL function is established based on the similarities, and the methods of finding the canonical forms, minimization forms, analysis and synthesis of FL function using the methods of finding that of MVL is proposed. Using the methods, canonical forms, minimization forms, analysis and synthesis of several FL functions are found, and the operations to examples show that themethods not on]y have the same results with the traditional methods, but also have the characteristics of simple, normative and shortcut for finding the canonical forms, minimization forms, analysis and synthesis of FL function. Besides, the problems of complicated structure and difficult design using circuits in hardware implement of current FL table are pointed out, and comparison between the K-map of MVL and the fuzzy control table is done, then a method for converting the fuzzy control table to K-map is proposed. Using the method, the circuit for looking up the fuzzy control table is designed.. The example shows that the method has the characteristic of simple and feasible, and the designed circuit has simple structure and high-speed inference ability.
