The application of Computer Science in the education field is one of the most import achievements for the development of the education during the latter half of last century. It is also an important sign of present education modernization. Virtual Reality Technology is ulterior studied and exploited as a kind of advanced and jumped-up technology for the development of CAI. Virtual Reality Technology is a kind of advanced simulative means, which can surpass the limitation of the physics and space-time. It is a three-dimensional solid space. The user may interact with the objects in the space, and may manipulate some objects in it. The users can move in the space with their willing. So they can feel the immersion and participation. The application of the Virtual Reality Technology in the CAI can make the students be personally on the scene and understand the knowledge more deeply. Subsequently, this article is titled "CAI based on Virtual Reality Technology courseware's study and application".This article includes two parts: The study of CAI based on Virtual Reality Technology; The practice of making courseware on Space analytic geometry.The first section researches and discusses about CAI on CAI-Course-Making Principle, educational psychology, educational methods and educational pattern. These are the foundation of CAI-Course-making. Only through studying and researching deeply and applying them in CAI-Course-Making practices can we assure the success and quality of CAI course. Based on different educational models and educational intentions the CAI course' structural models are different. This paper mainly researches on the application of Virtual Reality Technology in the CAI by VRML (Virtual Reality Model Language), and propose the based on Virtual Reality Technology model of CAI.The second section introduces the CAI-Course-Making practice on Space analytic geometry.According to teaching conditions of Space analytic geometry, it proposes the goal of CAI course, select and composes teaching contents, selects proper educational tactics and media. The empoison of this courseware changed the situation of the traditional teaching model in which the teacher draw the picture on the blackboard and It is so difficult to image the three-dimension space that the students can't understand the relevant knowledge in Space analytic geometry.
