The Intelligentized Programming And Controlling System For Wire Electrical Discharge Machine

This paper mainly introdues the study and development of the Intelligentized Programming and Controlling System for Wire Electrical Discharge Machine (WEDM). The design method of the system is expounded in detail and some improvements and innovations in the task are emphasized.The Intelligentized Programming and Controlling System for WEDM is composed of programming and controlling two subsystems. It is an integrated computer controlling system through the cooperation of software part and hardware part. The hardware part of controlling system consists the interface circuit of CPU, the circuit of collecting process status information the driving and controlling circuit of step motor and the protect circuit when losing electric power. The software part of controlling system achieves the aim of controlling process through controlling step motors. The programming system realizes the auto programming of the graphics inputting mode and cutting Chinese characters.The improvements and innovations are made in following aspects. The integrated measure of programming and controlling is adopted and the protect function when losing electric power is provided. The improved interpolation enhances the process precision. The auto programming function of the graphics inputting mode and cutting Chinese characters is added. It makes programming and controlling can switch between foreground and background to adopt the multitask operating system Windows. This system is keep ahead in native same field.Furthermore, the controlling process theory of WEDM, interface circuit and a little arithmetic in the system software are also discussed in this paper.
