Study And Implementation Of DSSS Model Algorithms In Software Radio

Software radio is recognized as another revolution in wireless conununications, and becomes one of the essential research directions in the communications field at present. In this paper the background, overview and perspective of software radio are briefly introduced. Then this paper discusses the basic theory, architecture, and key techniques of software radio, the principles and algorithms of DSSS model in software radio. The 揊PGA+DSP?scheme is adopted to implement software radio modem and wave processor. Based on this scheme, a universal hardware platform of software radio modem and wave processor is designed and implemented. On the platform the DSSS model algorithms are demonstrated and the results of experiment show that the platform and the algorithms have good performances. Since this platform can be applied to implement other models, the development efficiency will be improved and the development period will be reduced.
