Performance Evaluation System Of Microcomputer Temperature Controller

The performance evaluation system designed for microcomputer closed loop temperature controller is introduced in the thesis. The design of this system include: the circuit board used for data collecting and transfering. It extracts the output parameters of temperature control system and the temperature data of object controlled, and sends them to PC via serial communication. A program is developed to recieve data sent from single chip computer ,to save data into files, to display them onto screen. A function of object temperature is introduced with curve fitting method to calculates the corresponding performance index. The design of the system is tested and checked by testing the temperature controllor using different control parameters and getting different performance indexes. The system can be used to optimize the controller and improve the control performance by comparing performances of the temperature controllor with differnt control parameters.
