Research On The Terminal Technologies Of Base Station In TDMA Mobile Communication System

Under the background of the current mobile communication technology, the terminals of the base station in a wireless network are mainly discussed in this paper. The network has a "star"topology and is mainly used in the units of divisional and regimental level. It is a part of the battle information networks. The system can realize the access of voice and data, completing the communication between base station and mobile station or between the mobile stations. The terminals consist of the time division terminal and the service terminals. This paper discusses the realization of the base station from the aspect of the hardware and the software. In the system design, the advanced vocoder AMBE- 1000, the embedded PC pc-104 module, and the CPLD are adopted. The key technologies include the using of the time slot status table and the user status table to manage the user service and dynamically allocation the channels. The adoption of these technologies made the system smaller than before and the capacity is further increased. In contrast to the system before, the novelties in our system are: The TDMA/TDD technique is adopted , which the same frequency is used between transmitter and the receiver; The advanced variable rate vocoder AMBE-i000 is used to realize the coder/decoder functions; The DCA(dynamically channel allocation) technique is adopted; The advanced embedded Pc-Pci 04 is adopted as the central control unit in the time-division terminal; The transmission of the signaling doesn't use the dedicated slot, but use the method of marking of the idle slot, which decreasing the collision probability. The system adopts the TDMA multiple access technology and TDD duplexing technology to realize the communication between the base station and the mobile station, finishing the access of the voice and the data. By analysis and testing, the system is proved to be practicable. The result can meet the needs expected.
