The main target of the research is to design and manufacture a CAT(Computer Aided Test) system of joint internal thread, in order to improve the measuring accuracy and quality of the joint internal thread of BAO STEEL This paper introduces the mechanical construction and hard ware of the CAT system of joint internal thread and discusses the data processing method, statistical analysis, error analysis and handling of the discrete data of digital acquisition in details. Two-dimension mathematical model of tooth form in axial section of the joint internal thread has been successfully built. Based on the model, parameters of joint internal thread are calculated with linear regression analysis and compensation of test result, error has been done. It has been verified that the mathematical data processing is effective and meets the requirement of the user. Calculating, debugging software are programmed using DLL (Dynamic Link Library) of VC++5.O in Windows95 operating system, and are connected to the main program. This paper discusses in details the algorithm and implement of DLL, also introduces some important functions. This paper also introduces and successfully implements a new method named erivative Segmentation Based on Dynamic Regression? In the calculating software, a new way of solving the problems in tracking the median data in processing has been found, that is utput Median Data File in DLL? Experiment and field test have proved that the algorithm is robust and its accuracy meets requirement of users; the program of the algorithm with high accuracy is fast and satisfied.
