Passive detection and locatation technology used for internetted airborne radars is a noveltechnology developed under modern higb-technology eonditions. It implents the detection andlocation of targets without radiating electromagnetic wave through passively detecting andlocating the radiater sources ,as well as transmitting and fusing the information obtained frommultiple sensor platforms. The internetted airborne radars system with passive detection andposition capablity can passively detect and locate enemy's early warning aircraft andelectronic jamming aircraft at a long distance, therefore it will be one of the most importantinformation sources for guiding the anti-radiation missiles to destory enemy's early warningaircraft and electronic jamming aircraft.ln this paper, a technical scheme of passive detectionand location for internetted airborne radars is presented. The passive detection and positionalgorithms under the conditions of single platform and multiple platforms are investigated indepth. In addition, a large number of computer simulation analyses arc performed.
