Wushu has a long history in China, contains profound meaning of Chinese traditional culture, with strong Chinese characteristics, but the sport's popularity in China is not optimistic. In order to better the popularity of martial arts schools to carry forward the Chinese traditional martial arts culture to the early martial arts out of China into the world. This paper, the study of Changchun City schools as an entry point, the use of literature, interviews, questionnaires, statistics and other research methods to randomly selected under the jurisdiction of the urban area of Changchun City, a total of 25 primary and secondary schools as the research object, martial arts education in primary and secondary schools carried out in Changchun status, primary and secondary students on the martial arts awareness and value orientation, martial status of teachers, facilities and so on several aspects of research. Through the survey found:Changchun City, had set up primary and secondary schools that most martial arts classes to start a martial arts class in primary and secondary schools, most schools to teach complex way, is not conducive to the development and popularity of martial arts; Changchun City Films and TV networks in primary and secondary students to understand Martial Arts majority, resulting in most of the students like martial arts class, that martial arts can play as a fun project, can be practicing self-defense martial art. Only a few students that martial arts can carry forward the traditional culture; Changchun fewer primary and secondary teachers of martial arts, with professional quality and even fewer, held a martial arts class in primary and secondary teachers based mainly on physical education teachers, most teachers before never been exposed to martial arts, is now learning to teach, lead to lower quality martial arts classes; Changchun, martial arts schools have a very small space, there are not many equipment, both sites there is very little equipment, Even if equipment is also furnished, almost never used, because the rapid loss of equipment, is not conducive to the management of teachers.Development of Wushu in Changchun City, the negative factors in primary and secondary schools are mainly the following points:first, the public's misunderstanding of the martial arts; the second, leading to the neglect of teaching martial arts;third, by the impact of competitive martial arts;fourth, Tae Kwon Do projects such as the impact on the martial arts. Universal primary and secondary schools in Changchun City, from the above negative factors in the current situation and emerging from the study:revised primary and secondary education programs in Changchun, the appropriate lesson to increase martial arts lessons,martial arts classes in order to test the contents of content-based martial arts dan; primary and secondary school teacher in Changchun City improve primary and secondary teachers in regular martial arts training, recruitment of professional martial arts teacher, complementary use of resources, and the Joint Sports College teaching; competent leadership should strengthen administration, school leadership should also be given attention; in elementary and middle schools Wushu Dan use of local administrative interference in the functions of the administrative department for primary and secondary schools should achieve Erduan entered junior middle schools, high schools should reach their middle school sections, otherwise it will affect the ascend on a school.
