| The concept of life education advocates highly the value of life and concerns for students'all-sided development. These concepts of life education are measures dealing with the contemporary problems in the period of transition in our society and being taken by education theorists and teachers. From 1994 to 2009, "New Basic Education" experiment brought a new philosophy of education, accumulated a variety of education practical experience to China's basic education and created a new generation of our society. The thesis in this program is based on the understanding of the concept of life education. Through analyzing of the experiment background, history and effectiveness of the "New Basic Education" was deepened the understanding of the concept of life education, as well as a better understanding of educational thinking of Ye Lan. It also brings some experience and inspiration to our contemporary basic education reform.In the introduction part, it summarizes reasons by choosing the subject, relative research status in domestic and international, the definition of related concepts, research significance, methods and logic of this research process. The reason for choosing this title on one hand is pondering over the phenomena of neglect of life in our contemporary basic education field. On the other hand, the "New Basic Education" experiment has made great achievements in our country. The relative research in this paper mainly refers to the "New Basic Education", life education and the views of life education in YeLan's education theory. Among them, life education research at home and abroad has a wealth of information available for reference. The "New Basic Education" and Ye Lan's life education have been introduced little to abroad but been studied very early by more people at home. In this paper, we define life education as using philosophy of life to ponder over educational activities and using the basic theories of philosophy of life or direct infiltration of the entire educational activities. Secondly, based on the understanding of life comes to that the views of life education is the views on life education. Finally, according to Ye Lan's definition of the "New Basic Education", it is sure that it means an experimental reform of basic education in charging by her. This paper analyzes the link and differences between the "New Basic Education" and life education and gets the meaning of views of life education in the "New Basic Education" by understanding 3 words: life, composition of life experience and value of education point to. Furthermore, the paper describes the research methods and its theoretical and practical significance.This first chapter focuses on analysis of the studying background of the "New Basic Education" and its research history. When it talks about the background it analyzes the fact of two world wars in 20th century and changes in the environment which cause harm to human survival. Then we get the reason to education paying more attention to human's survival of the state. Also, there is a reflection on phenomenon of neglecting life in China's contemporary basic education field. Another important main idea in Chapter I is the development course of the "New Basic Education". The paper mainly describes the aims and strategies in 3 different stages of "New Basic Education".In Chapter II it figures out and argues the concept of life education in the "New Basic Education" by analyzing its concrete practical. Based on the performance and representation order that the "New Basic Education" reflects, we divide the representation of life education in it into 3 levels such as class instruction, class construction and schools transformation. All the representation supports the concept of life education.In Chapter III it indicates the reasonable of life education in the "New Basic Education" by showing the changes in human in education situation, classes and schools after carrying out the "New Basic Education" experiment. In this chapter it mainly cites examples to highlight the effectiveness and impact of the "New Basic Education" experiment.In the conclusion part, it summarizes the concept of life education in the "New Basic Education" experiment:the understanding of the connotation of life, the educational value of the life, the spirit of the times. And then according to its concept of life education, it talks about the enlightenment that its practices bring to China's contemporary reform of basic education. For example, the key to reform of basic education is the human transformation; spirit of the times affecting people's personality development and practice of education reform process; concept of life education needed to be tested by life education practices. Finally, it analyzes two contradictions that exist in the current implementation of life education in our country. They are: contradiction between an urban-rural dual economic structure and the unified methods of life education implementation; contradiction between the requirement of man's personality development in basic education reform and the demands of unified development in our society.These two contradictions remind of us that we should adopt the correct concept of life education in the actual education reform. |
