Experimental Study,on "1/2 Course Time Figure Training Structure" In University Dance Sports Teaching

Abstract/Summary:
Dance Sport was the original dancing activity which popularizes in European countries and U.S. and introduced to China during the period of last century. Owning to the limited and short time for the training teachers when they visited China and gave lectures (about 10 days), the key points of the training lies in the introduction of the various dancing paces and routines without the systematic the relevant dancing basic training content, which resulted in the situation of lack of content, method, approaches, theory and mode. Secondly, quite a few teachers are inexperienced of systematic training and learning which resulted in the situation that they are unable to teach Dance Sports systematically so that the dance sports system is far from being perfect. Thirdly, the lack of learning time in university, limited course time and the imperfect course system lead to the inefficient learning for the students.This research is based on the investigation on 32 universities in Hebei province. 93.8% opened Dance Sport as a course (or selective course), among which 76.7% take the figure training program in the first three weeks, mainly on training of standing; 33.3% have professional teachers. And the figure training program in teaching program is 5%. The survey reveals that the majority of the universities have already started Dance Sports course or Dance Sports selective course and the systematic training of the figure is far from enough, which resulted from the limited time of training and the comparatively lower teaching level. All these facts greatly impact on the teaching quality and effects of Dance Sports in Universities in Hebei province.According to the situation of Dance Sports in universities in Hebei Province, the thesis is based on"1/2 course time figure training structure"and"traditional mode", focus on the 60 students in the two classes of Dance Sports selective courses during September, 2009 to January 2010. After one semester in comparative teaching, it studies the item of"figure situation"and"individual and duet dancing techniques"which resulted in the following results:1. figure situation: standing height, sitting height, truncus measurement, pelvis measurement P<0.05; length of lower limbs, waist measurement P<0.05; weight, chest measurement P>0.05.2. individual dancing techniques: temperature, delivery, character, arms delivery, wrist delivery, eye-contact, expression P<0.01; dancing of lower limbs, basic technique P<0.053. Duet dancing techniques: pace, standing position, position, interpretation of the music, the characteristic of dancing, the familiarity of routines, the expression of extension, the cooperative degree, the expression of the dancing, the overall effects P<0.01; direction P< 0.05.The experiment shows that"1/2 course time figure training structure"has a good effects on the factors of students'figure position, individual dancing techniques and duet dancing techniques. It suggests that in the Dance Sports should balance figure training content to perfect the Dance Sports course system, improve the course time of figure training to perfect the system of the course, and make full use of the interactive effects of figure training to the Dance Sports.
