This is a thesis on the topic of the relationship between supervisors and graduates, on the basis of the perspectives of graduates. The qualitative research method was used to analyze all the materials, which was collected by interviewing, on the basis of some parts of interpersonal theory. The writer was trying to answer the following questions by the research: what is the status of the interaction between supervisors and graduates? Where do the impacting factors on the interaction lie in? What are the roles supervisors playing? What are the characters of the ideal supervisors for the graduates?18 masters were found to be the samples by purposive random sampling. The researcher acquired all the necessary information on the relationship between supervisors and graduates by open end interview, comprehensively and deeply. The interview was about the status of interaction between teachers and students in daily life and the supervision of academic life, in order to explore the perspective of masters on this topic.Based on the analysis of all the obtained materials and the previous researches, the writer would go further in this research on the topic. In this paper, the researcher presented the abundant details about the status of this relationship. It showed the dominant role of the supervisor in the results, using Berne's PAC theory. Also, it showed communication, which caused the conflicts, was the key issue in the relationship. And the important factors impacting the relationship were found in the research, which told the reasons of human were crucial. The writer presented the role and the ideal image of the supervisor in the end.
