Education is of fundamental importance from ancient time to now. Teacher is a major subject among education industry. The level of professional teachers groups directly is related to the success of China's education and future of our country. This paper sets an example with regard to a special group, that is, high school politics teacher in Yichang City through different approaches, such as visiting, questionnaire, interviewing, investigating. Through the study of teachers professionalism in the current situation, causes and countermeasures.we are in the hope of coming out the final settlement, and then make a reference to the political subjects on the high school education and teaching.Overall, the Development of high school political teachers'team in different areas is imbalance. And the levels of whole teachers need to be improved. Teachers are not clear what knowledge should be updated and which ability should they have. What's more, the school leaders don't have an explicit purpose for teachers' training and they don't have a reasonable arrangement either. Through our high school politics teachers'interviewing and investigation in Yichang city, we find that:the whole level of competence among the Model High School political teachers in Yichang City is unsatisfied and it still exits a certain distance compared with the eastern coastal areas. Seen from the surface, the teacher's qualifications will generally not meet the requirements of the new curriculum. Of course, the academic education is not able to be solved in such a short time and does not directly reflect the practical teaching level.In this circumstance, it is more and more important to promote the professional quality of teachers.As we all know, the theme of the education reform is to improve the overall quality of citizens, while the training of the quality is a long and gradual process. In this process, the quality and activities of teachers is the most crucial point. It is said from the 21st Century International Education Committee that:without the assistance and active participation of teachers, it is unsuccessful to implement any education reform. It can be said that if the new basic education curriculum reform wanted to gain a smoothly success, it would be important to attract more competent teacher and in this way the 21st education would win a big success. |
