Education is a kind of art, because what it guides to us is the whole world. The world seems near to us, as we can see how charming it is. The world seems far from us as well, as we cannot feel what it is charming. The world embraces all kinds of mysterious besides our heart beating. How can we feel the world? How can we touch the world? We hardly have interaction with the so-called beauty, as our soul is still closed to it, as the education can not open us a free and self imagining space, as the education can not tear off the black gauze which covers our eyes: the opening characteristic of education is losing, the developing characteristic of education is shrinking, the civilized characteristic of education is being rigid.Education which contains the art of blank is a kind of free educational form. The art of blank is a kind of educational method which is full of beauty, because free education can open the freedom in our spirit.In this thesis, the author tries to explain and analyze the crisis in China which is opposed to the traditional blank art begin with the art of blank which is a special nature of traditional Chinese painting in chapter one. And in chapter two, the author extends the art of blank into the process of education to excavate the characteristic of blank. Chapter three explains how to create blank in concrete situation. It can summon the experience space through reading, it can open the free space through communication, and it can mediate the relaxing space through entertainment. In the last chapter, it tells the characteristic of appreciation of the beauty in process of education which is taken from the art of blank. Its imagination can open the perceptual self; its unique nature can evident the complete self and its exceeding can return creative self. The art of blank can liberate the whole spirit through rousing, opening and completing the multivariate individuality.
