| The request of the times to contemporary people hastransfered from receiving knowledge to learning to live,learning to study, learning to renew knewledge longlife,learning to think freely and critically and learning to lovethe world to make the world filled with human feelings andpoetic aesthetics. However, the existed education in Chinablotted out our personality, autonomy, freedom and creativity.And it has cuttivated a targe number of social men who were lackof soul, lack of thought, lack of innovation spirit and couldnot think individually.Therefore, as a special entity of cultivating men,cultivating all-round-way development free men is theunavoidable duties of the school and education. This articleexpressed a way to motivate man's soul and make the studentsinsight through soul-awakening. As an art and means ofeducation, awakening makes the students poccess creative freewill, rich clever innermost feelings world, independent andself-respect personality strength. The goal of education isnot only to introduce or receive the existed knowledge, but alsoawaken the self-awareness, creativity, life feeling andself-worth. The educational process does not only liberate theeducated students exteriorly, but also liberate their interiorpower. Therefore, the main aim of soul-awakening is to encourage the subjectivity, then obtain the intrapsychicfreedom and liberation.In the first part of this article, it is elaborated thatthe good soul could be obtained by awakening. Inthe second part,the shortcoming of the present education was analyzedemphatically. The third part proposed the education had theresponsibility and ability to awaken the deep-slept soul. Then,the last part pointed out the way to awaken the deep-slept soul.
