This paper discourses the effect and the development prospect of biology. From the background of the new curriculum reform, the needs of social development and the current situation of study. The paper makes a check and analysis on the students' current interest and puts forward the countermeasures.The research objects are the part of students and junior high school teachers of biology in Zhaoyuan town, it bases on researching and teaching experience of many years, adopting questionnaires and interviews survey. It includes the students'study interest, biological status of the investigation. And the results were analyzed, we find the influence factors of students'interest in learning biology are teachers, achievements, teaching methods, school, family, society and students themselves etc. At the same time, according to the new curriculum standard, we give some advice on improving students'interest in learning biology from their own, teaching, management, family and social influence. Teachers can use for reference from the suggestions and countermeasures.
