Research On The Evolution And Features Of Our Country's Standards For National Students' Physical Health

Since the foundation of the PRC, the Party and the government has paid much attention to the health states of the teenagers.The former Department of Education and Department of Sports encourged teenagers to take part in sports with the aim of strengthen their bodies. They have unveiled different policies in different periods, and they have regulated a new assessing standard for the evaluation of the teenagers'health. This has greatly completed and regulated the assessment standard, but it has also seen some of its disadvantages.This extract, with material-finding, comparsion, speculation as its research methods, will research on the changes of each Standards which were issued since the founding of the PRC. It is based on the bakground, significance, feature and the impact on the PE lessons then. It also summarizes the likes and features during the changes of the Standards, and will provide stratages and ideas to improve the health states of the students in our country.After research, we come to the conclusion:1: the Standard has simplified during the changes itself and meanwhile, it has covered a wider range of aspects; the Standard will narrow its range to mainly test students, and it has got more practical.2: the Standard will change its aim from"making efforts to pass"to"selecting the elites", and this will enable different individuals and different groups to compare, thus beneficial;the standard for grading of the Standard will change from"adding or minusing"to"complexity of the sports will correspond to the grades",. This is fairer and more scientific. The standard for grading of the Standard will also be more detailed rathar than macro.3: the assessment system of the Standard still needs improvements, the aim for issuing the assessment standard still needs to be made clearer.With the aim of encourging and stimulating the mass students to take part in sport activities and form a life-long good habit. We hope the health states of the mass students are much more improved. In respondence with some problems during the changes of the Standard, we suggest:1: we should make it clearer why we want to publicize the assessment of the Standard.2: we should complete the assessment system futhermore.
