The Meaning Of Part-time Job To Graduate Student's Career

With changes in social environment and the diversifying of values system, graduate students also have more diverse ways of life.At present,taking part-time job is one option for their amateur life.And also,it has already become an increasingly common social phenomenon.As an individual behavior,part-time job for graduate students both has advantages and disadvantages for individual career development.In this paper,qualitative research is designed to explore three master's degree graduate students part-time job experience,try to discover the characteristics of its part-time experience,the impact on their career development and the changes brought by part-time job experience.Then,the conclusions of the general pattern of graduate student's part-time job experience,the meaning of part-time job for graduate student's career,other discoveries and suggestions have been made.Finally,reflection on the inadequacies of this study has been committed and the prospect of future research has been forecasted at the end of this paper.This article is divided into five chapters:Chapterâ… is Introduction,that introduces the research background,concludes the exiting related researches,and identifies the research perspective and methods used by researcher.Then,the necessity of qualitative research methods is introduced, as well as the process of the selected cases,the standards and analysis thinking.Chapterâ…¡,â…¢andâ…£,respectively,shows the story of every three master's degree graduate students' part-time job experience story.Category analysis in each story has been used to show the experience and the main characteristics of career.At the end of each chapter,aimed to present the meaning of part-time job to graduate student's career,the features,the meaning,the major factors and the inadequacies of their part-time job experience have been summarized.Chapterâ…¤is Conclusions and recommendations.It covers four herniation,a number of recommendations,reflections on the inadequacies of the study and the possibility of further study.
