In order to research the bidding model for Great Comprhensive Sports Event in china,I have used literature,interviewing,empirical study,systematical design method and red mass of relative datas in and out of China.Based on the point of view of special events,I have analyzed the meaning and classification about the Great Comprehensive Sports Event and listed the standards and features of bid and designed a bidding model of Great Comprehensive Sports Event by utilized the project managing theory of sport. Particularly,I have analyzed the chief factors such as application documents and network relationship marketing in bidding process of Great Comprehensive Sports Event.After a empirical study of the bid of Olympic Games and The Tenth National Games in our country,it summarized the important factors of the success of bid in the end.The main results are as follows:(1) The sports event could be definited as special event with core of sports competition which can promote and impact significant social,economic and overall efficiency.Sports event can be divided into great sports event,large sports event,sports event in general.Among them,the great sports event consisit of great comprehensive sports event and great individual sports event.(2) The standards of a bid for Great Comprehensive Sports Event include the political characteristics,communications and exposure characteristics,infrastructure characteristics,capabilities and technical characteristics,bid team composition, responsibilities and characteristics of relationship marketing.(3) According to project theory of sports and the research of foreign theory,bidding for Great Comprehensive Sports Event could be divided into five stages. First,Origin of bidding for Great Comprehensive Event is not only related to its own reasons,but also obvious integrated social,political,economic and cultural factors of host cities.Second,the study of feasibility of standards and featuresof of bid great comprehensive sports event.The analysis of content,program and method of feasibility for bid orginaisation is to ensure the bid team believe their decision.Third,the plan of bidding for Great Comprehensive Events is the detatiles of process of bid which basis the rule of bid.Fourth,the carrying out of bid plan of the great comprehensive event.The carrying out of bid plan is the operation of bid process.Moreover,network relationship marketing and bidding document and the cooperation of stakeholder are very important factors of the process.Finally,whether the acquirement of the Great Comprehensive Event or not.The application of the event is a cycle.If the application is successful,the event steps into the next stage,if not,reanalyzing the fail experience and continuing to prepare for the next application.
