| In this thesis, based on the existing researches, the author makes a more comprehensive, objective investigation and comparative study on the university students'involvements in outdoor educational activities in Chinese and American college students, according to pedagogy,sociology and other relevant knowledge, using the literature,questionnaire and mathematical statistical method.The author conducted polls with 1000 students in both Liaoning Normal University in China and Emporia State University in America by using self designed questionnaire, and made quantitive analysis of the student involvements in two different countries and under two different educational systems, in order to help more Chinese university students to understand more about the development of outdoor educational activities in the developed country and the differences between the present conditions in China and America. The purpose of the research is to arouse the interest of outdoor educational activities among the Chinese university students, and promote their involvements and consequently, the development of college outdoor educational activities in China.The author analyses the university students'motivations of involvement in the outdoor educational activities by using the same polls, and identifies the factors influencing the Chinese university students'motivations, in order to promote the awareness among them, and increase the general health criteria in Chinese universities.The author summarizes the similarities and differences in the involvements of outdoor educational activities between the students in these two universities and makes several suggestions about how to make the Chinese university students more actively engaged into the outdoor educational activities... |
