| The New Curriculum adopted by National Department of Education in April, 2003 reflects the belief that in Senior Mathematics teaching process, the educators should aim to enrich the students' learning methods and improve their skills of studying. The obvious characteristic of the curriculum reform is to stress the autonomy, inquiry and cooperation in teaching process and the information technology used as an effective tool.In this paper, I address an inquiry teaching mode for senior mathematics based on information technology. I do this by illustrating teaching mode, inquiry teaching and information technology as well as exploring a notion of "teaching through information technology". In the eyes of a senior mathematics teacher, I combine the existing research achievements with my own teaching experience to do research into a teaching mode in which the students' ability to work out the problems can be greatly improved with the help of modern information technology. |
