Research Of Actual Efficiency About Universities' Patriotism Education In New Times

Patriotism is the strength which pushes the society move to forward and is a banner which motivates and unites the whole country to fight for. In the meeting of 17th National People's Congress of CPC, it is raised to encourage spirits with the national spirit by the core of Patriotism and the spirit of the times by the core of the reform and innovation ,and to lead trends with the socialist honors and disgraces, for consolidating the common ideological foundation which is the whole Party and the people of all ethnic groups struggling for. The level of undergraduates Patriotism quality, is the key to the socialism modernization and the development of the nation. This thesis focuses on the themes of actual efficiency about universities' Patriotism education, which started from the dialectic of the emotion and reason of patriotic, analyzed the problems and countermeasure existing in the universities' Patriotism education, the three key issues are:First, based on the Patriotism education, it is analyzed from the point of view in both longitudinal and horizontal dimensionality, emphasize the concerns of both times and levels, and tries to differentiate the two confusing definitions, which is nationalism and Patriotism. Upon this, the article brings out the point that the Patriotism education in universities should emphasize on the cultivation sense of the Patriotism.Second, due to the irrational attitudes which are overenthusiastic and apathetic towards the Patriotism, the article points out the problems that the Patriotism education in universities neglects the importance of the sequences of the education , pay less attention to the subjectivity of educatee, the critical ability and it carries under a single evaluation system. Further the thesis brings out the real reasons in the background of social transformation, globalization and market economy.Finally, based on the analysis above, some suggestions are brought out for the enhancing actual efficiency of Patriotism education . Based on the educational concept, harmony concept as a guide to the Patriotism education in universities, is suggested to combine the patriotism education with civic education, for emphasis the political regulations. In the educational environment aspect, it is suggested to infiltration Patriotism education in harmony campus construct and build the comprehensive educational system. In the content of the education, it should strengthen the education of confidence in national development ,and sense of urgency and globalization awareness. In terms of the way to teach, instead of the theoretical indoctrination, it is suggested to fill more independent thinking and forms a stable Patriotism in terms of political participation.
