A Study On The Tuition Institution Of Public Colleges And Universities In China

In recent years, with the reform of high education, the tuition institution of public colleges and universities has shifted from charge-free to charging fee in China. Since the charging fee institution has been implemented, it has relieved some shortage of education funds, and promoted China's higher education leapfrogging from the elite education to the mass education, which provided a good opportunity for higher education adapting to the market economy. However, due to being influenced by multi-factors, the tuition institution of public colleges and universities still exists several problems, such as the problem of tuition standards, which has aroused the concerning of the general public, and become the social hot issue. These problems caused further concerns and discussions from the public and researchers.On the bases of the domestic and international literature review, this paper applies some approaches, such as literature analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and other research methods. It is analyzed the course of the changes on the tuition institution of public colleges and universities, and the focus is on analyzing the problem of tuition standards. The analytic results show that the tuition standard of public colleges and universities is unreasonably high, and this problem was mainly caused by the defects of tuition institution. Thus, it is needed to make related reform.
