It is universally acceptable at present that higher education charges tuition. But the leveal of the tuition has grown rapidly in recent years, people have different ideas about it.Some people think it's too high to pay off, but some people think it's still too low. Not only because they have close connections with resident endurance, but also because tuition standards affect the development of higher education. Considering the fact that scholars previously viewed tuition standards from the perspective of qualitative analysis, the present author mainly discusses the issue by adopting quantitative analysis. This thesis tries to expound high education's basic theory by using certain viewpoint of economics and educational economics. On the basis of documentary analysis, the author thoroughly research the higher education tuition in china and its relevant elements, deeply analyze the rational space of higher education tuition standards while adopting the method of regression analysis, and set up a mathematical model of higher education tuition. Then, we estimate the reasonable interval of tuition in the coming three years. The research results indicate that relevant connections and curve estimation regression models exist between higher education tuition and other five elements, including per capita GDP, higher education cost, household disposable income, demand of higher education, supply of higher education, furthermore there is good click of curve model between tuition and these five elements as controlling the quantity of dependent variable and sample.According to the research results, the author presents her own tentative suggestions on policy and her further research orientation.
