In recent years, mathematics test composition principle of the senior middle school entrance examination has changed from knowledge-based to ability-based under the notion of new curriculum. The study on teaching mathematics comprehensive problems of junior middle school facilitates revealing the essence of problem solving, emphasizing on creative ability and application awareness, as well as encouraging students to explore, discover and conjecture in the math teaching of junior middle school.The study begins with analyzing the new curriculum and textbooks, and along with the two thoughts of math comprehensive problems learning and teaching, it presents the concept, features and type of math comprehensive problems, and analyzes math congnitive structure and transfer ability.
