With the development of society,more and more rural people have come to work in city and left their children home to study,which has created a special children group—left behind children.The number of left-behind children is huge,exceeding one-fifth of the number of nonage children in the country.Their ability of comprehension,comprehensive analysis and questioning are affected by staying behind,while these abilities are closely related to mathematics logical thinking ability,which leads to them be influenced on the development of mathematics logical thinking ability.And mathematics logical thinking ability is the core ability in many mathematics abilities.Summarizing previous researches,we could conclude that left-behind children generally suffer from low self-esteem and self-confidence.Besides,guardians cannot effectively supervise their learning.Combining with the characteristics of left-behind children in order to find out the reasons why their mathematical logic thinking ability is weak and attempt to narrow and eliminate the gap between them with non-left-behind children.The low self-esteem and non-confidence psychology affect the flexibility,agility,and critical ability of mathematics logical thinking.The thinking quality will decides the level of mathematics logical thinking.Therefore,the low self-esteem and self-confidence of left-behind children may affect the ability of mathematical logic thinking.Students from all five grades in local townships were selected to investigate based on the above theoretical basis.Analysis of the data revealed that local guardians of left-behind children could not effectively supervise their children's learning.Those children had inferior self-esteem and non-confidence in comparison with non-left-behind children.Their level of flexibility in mathematics thinking,agility,critical capability,and logical thinking ability were weak.And the five dimensions of data are consistent.The basic reason for the weak mathematical logic thinking ability of left-behind children is their inferiority self-esteem and self-confidence.It is precisely because of this characteristic that the flexibility,agility,and critical capability of their mathematical thinking quality are affected,which leads to their mathematics logical thinking affected.According to this situation,we must first improve the self-confidence of left-behind children through the appreciation of education and success education.And taking advantage of homework stratification to improve the flexibility of their mathematical thinking quality,making requirements of their works,and establishing learning groups to improve their mathematical thinking quality,solid foundation,and inspiring strategies to improve the quality of their mathematical thinking,and then enhance their mathematical thinking ability.Finally,some students were selected from the left-behind children surveyed for a three-month comparative study.The effectiveness of the proposed countermeasures was examined and it was found that the measures taken were effective and operational.
