Thinking Of The Structural Renovation Of The Promotion Of Vocational Colleges To Colleges

The promotion of vocational colleges to colleges is an important part of the renovation of high-level education in our country. This promotion firstly comes from the expansion of college admission, secondly from the change of talent demand from the local economics, and finally from the strong need of development of the vocational colleges themselves. For the past few years, quite a few vocational colleges gave students opportunities to pursue their undergraduate degree and even master or doctoral degree. Based on the newly founded colleges after promotion, this paper analyzed the internal and external conditions needed for the promotion, described the difficulties of structural operation, including the direction of education, the economics, staffs, and even the structural culture development. Only when all of these difficulties could be well solved, the promotion could be realized. While not all the vocational colleges owe the ability to completely solve these problems, thus it is really important to keep calm to the promotion for vocational colleges.Based on the structural renovation theory, this paper firstly made clear the concepts of vocational education, college education, promotion (of vocational colleges to colleges) and structural renovation. Then this paper described the application of structural renovation theory in promotion of vocational colleges to colleges. The drive and the resistance for the structural renovation and the process of the promotion were analyzed in detail.This paper analyzed the favorable and unfavorable causes for the promotion of Shanghai Business School, and then found out the key part for the renovation, that is "people". The renovation for "people" could be the guidance for structural renovation, cultural renovation. The structural renovation of Shanghai Business College could be a good example, which explains that structural renovation is a long systematic process. We need new innovation even though there should be some rules to obey.
