| According to the study of themodern teaching theory, essentially the basiccause of the study is the question. Only when one finds the question, can he makea deep thinking, thus making a deep and effective study. The cultivation of thestudents' consciousness of the problem is an extremely important step for students'transformation of the study methods. How to train the students' consciousness ofthe problem? We consider training critical thinking in Chinese teaching as a means.Because critical thinking is the key factor to carry out the consciousness of theproblem. However, as the teachers are influenced by the traditional teaching concept,teaching methodology and the system of the testing and the evaluation, they neglectthe cultivation of the students' consciousness of the question in our current Chineseteaching.This thesis starts from the new requirements of' social development and thecurrent situation in Chinese teaching, defines critical thinking and itscharacteristics, and then, analyses the possibility and necessity of training thiskind of thinking method, after describing the educational research of criticalthinking at home and abroad.This thesis consists of four parts:Part One gives the importance of the understanding of the training the Students'critical thinking. It expounds mainly from two different aspects, namely the closeexamination of the present situation in Chinese education, and the demand of thenew requirements to foster talents for social development.Part Two describes the connotations of the critical thinking and detailedcontents for us to cultivate students' critical thinking. From the aspects ofeducational psychology and discipline pedagogy, it defines the critical thinkingand makes the tentative induction and deduction of the critical thinking'scharacters. On the basis of distinguishing the relationship between the criticalthinking and other thinking, this part also gives the concrete contents of trainingstudents' critical thinking, and is devoted to probing the principals and means oftraining students' critical thinking in teaching.Part three demonstrates the thinking of countermeasure to cultivate the criticalthinking. This part is the focus point of this thesis. It demonstrates mainly ina practical way. It expounds from four aspects. Firstly, Chinese teaching occupiesa dominant position in the training of the students' critical thinking and buildingup the students' consciousness of the problem. Secondly, to put forward the ideaof building a teaching civilization of thinking. Thirdly, to make a deep probeinto the question of how to train the Students' critical thinking in teaching readingFourthly, to try fostering the students' critical thinking in the writingteaching.Part Four is about the enlightenment of cultivation of students' criticalthinking to the present basic educational reform in our country. Aiming at thereasonable points in those parts, it puts forward several helpful enlightenmentof cultivating critical thinking to the present basic educational reform in ourcountry. |
